Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the access to and use of the website and the portal (collectively, the “Portal”) operated by RISHS International School (hereinafter referred to as the “School”). By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Portal, the user (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) agrees to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If the User does not agree to any part of these Terms, the User shall refrain from accessing or using the Portal.

1. Eligibility and Authorised Use

Access to the Portal is intended solely for parents, legal guardians, students, faculty, and staff of the School, and for such other persons as may be expressly authorised by the School. The User undertakes to use the Portal strictly for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with the educational and administrative functions of the School.

2. Account and Security

The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials (including mobile number, one-time passwords, and passwords) and for all activities that occur under the User's account. The User shall notify the School forthwith of any unauthorised access or use. The School shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the User's failure to safeguard such credentials.

3. Fees and Payments

All fees levied by the School, including tuition, transport, and such other charges as may be applicable from time to time, shall be payable in accordance with the fee structure and schedule published by the School for the relevant academic year. Online fee payments initiated through the Portal are processed by ICICI Bank Limited, in its capacity as payment gateway provider.

The User acknowledges that the completion of a payment transaction is subject to the systems and processes of the payment gateway, the User's bank, and applicable network operators. The School shall not be responsible for any failure, delay, or interruption in the completion of any transaction attributable to such third parties.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, reversals, and cancellations in respect of fee payments made through the Portal shall be governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Portal, including without limitation text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the arrangement thereof, is the property of the School or its licensors, and is protected under applicable laws relating to intellectual property. No part of the Portal may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior written consent of the School.

6. Prohibited Conduct

The User shall not, directly or indirectly:

  • use the Portal in any manner that may impair, damage, or disrupt its operation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any portion of the Portal, or to any account or data not belonging to the User;
  • upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
  • use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or crawlers) to access the Portal without the prior written consent of the School; or
  • use the Portal in violation of any applicable law, rule, or regulation.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Portal is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The School makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the uninterrupted availability of the Portal, the accuracy or completeness of its content, or its fitness for any particular purpose, save to the extent expressly required under applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the School shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the Portal.

9. Modification of Terms

The School reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice. The revised Terms shall take effect upon publication on the Portal, and continued use of the Portal thereafter shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
